Tyler Kalklosch, Principal and Advisor
Ty is a technology-focused real estate disrupter. In July 2020, he joined Raken as CEO. Raken is a technology company that provides innovative mobile technology to streamline field workflows for construction workers. Their ‘digital toolbox’ connects the field to the office with daily reports. Ty is a founding investor in Ask Canopy Inc.’s holding company and has helped to develop the insurance product that will replace security deposits in tenant housing. He also founded PayLease, a leading payments provider in 2003. Vista Equity Partners acquired PayLease in 2017. Over the years, PayLease has further built its platform and suite of services. Part of the PayLease platform, Zego, helps operators modernize the resident experience to boost retention and improve efficiency with an industry-leading mobile resident experience management platform, all within a single, user-friendly application. Ty is a graduate of San Diego State University.
Adam Kent, Principal and General Counsel
Adam is a real estate attorney. He helped to develop and draft the insurance product offered by Ask Canopy, Inc. Adam has represented the entire spectrum of real estate actors across the country in complex transactions and business litigation. He’s represented a number of real estate portfolios including those owned and managed by SomeraRoad, Inc., Sovereign Capital Management Group, Inc., and Daymark Realty Advisors, Inc. Adam is a graduate of the University of California, Davis and the University of California, Irvine.
William F. White, Principal and Director
William is a financial professional and trailblazer. He oversees business development and Operations for Ask Canopy, Inc. Previously, William worked for Sovereign Capital Management to expand its investment into distressed private real estate and other related businesses. He also worked for Daymark Realty Advisors, Inc. in an advisory role. Prior to these advisory roles, William was principal of San Francisco based Alexander Partners that focused on the syndication of real estate investments across the continental United States. He began his career as a market opportunity strategist with the Tokyo based WTD in 1989 and joined Bank of America on the structured finance desk and later Assets Mondale, an offshore hedge fund as a senior market maker and advisor for asset repositioning. William has been a CFA charter holder since 2001 and a graduate of the University of California, Davis.
